Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with offices across Canada seeks an Intermediate / Senior Bridge Engineer to help grow their offering in Vancouver and Edmonton.
How you’ll contribute to our company
You will participate in the delivery of all aspects of bridge projects ranging from inspection and management of bridge inventories; assessment and rehabilitation of bridges; conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of bridges; and preparation and administration of contracts. Duties will include inspection, design, project management, completing business development work, and preparing proposals.
What you will bring to the table
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited post-secondary educational institution
- Eligible for professional registration with APEGBC
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in bridge engineering
- Experience with inspection, analysis and design, preparing contract documents, and contract administration
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills are an asset
- Strong organizational skills
- Committed team player
