Bid Manager (Major Projects), Infrastructure

Large general contractor is seeking experienced Bid Manager with 8+ years of experience in pursuits phase of major projects. You have extensive experience delivering RFP/RFQ of large infrastructure infrastructure projects ($100m+). Outpost Recruitment is excited to work with our client on this full-time permanent role.

Responsibilities of Bid Manager:

• Bid Manager wil manage the development of proposals for P3 and other design build projects
• Provide management of the design team in developing compliant and aggressive design solutions in response to RFP requirements including coordination of all disciplines.
• Analyze project requirements and development of a strategy focused on the winning the opportunity
• Be responsible for the development of submissions and presentations for RFP period collaborative meeting process in conjunction with the design team; review and assessment of all RFP documentation and requirements
• Work collaboratively in a team environment with our mechanical and electrical design managers, project estimators, capital development director, marketing team, legal team, and facility management team.

Education & Experience of Bid Manager:

• Bid Manager has a a construction related degree/diploma and 8-10 years of bid management experience within civil infrastructure projects
• Bid Manager has a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, design development, municipal approvals, scheduling, project management and contract software
• You have the ability to confidently mentor a team while developing and maintaining strong client relations
